A brand new Free companion ceremony 8 layer veil that has believe it or not only 2 attachment points!!!!! WEAR EARINGS hehe...... Veil is sculpt and flexi and has talendar flowers. This veil is like no other, as i had the script made special for it :) The veil script requires that another avatar click the veil and a permission box will come up ONLY once for permission. ... then the clicker can remove the layers.... it is perfect :) I hope you like...... Submission may be done from May 14- May 23 2009
Winner will be drawn no later than May 30.

2. Submit up to 2 (two), no more, photos taken wearing a Gracie Outfit from a Current Line

I want to use the shot in an ad so it needs to be current) Please be creative, I adore extremely avante garde looks as well as fresh and light.....

After going thru many of my prim skirts I have been redoing several to improve, flow, texture, and quality of them... especially given the metaverses ability to bork textures seriously with upgrades..... grrrr. I am really happy with the way this one turned out.. but i also know some ofyou love it the way it was... so it includes both the old skirt and this new one, shown. I am sure you will be pleased with the swish and flow.... You can find it in the bridal store, though it is perfectly appropriate for other occassions.

I'm really hoping this one will not go forgotten.... I think i stewed over this design for about 8 months...... My original vision was to make an interpretation of the brocade highly structured outfit worn by Jennifer Connely in the not so old Balenciaga ads i saw in magazines... This one is not nearly as colorful.. and the design definitely is only an interpretation.. but i seriously think this one is more wearable.... I would adore seeing someone mix this up with some stuff and make it more colorful with accessories..... as always mod prim/no copy/ YES TRANSFER. I tell you i hate the no trans thing.... shopping is not fun anymore to get gifts... and i cant pass my old stuff to newbs.. instead i am hitting delete... **gulps**

Ralph Lauren's Look. I love the warm colors and pretty feel this gown has... It is made of shantung silk horizontal stripes, in Rich Warm colors that are sooo yummy. The skirt flows nicely, in fact it was an inspiration and will be the basis for me upgrading skirts in the formal area of my store again soon! I LOVE COLOR!! and this fabric struck me so much that i had to use it. It has a retro feel, but i did it with modern shapes. Candy has 4 skirts (not all are shown) including my favorite .. the long one. The skirt lengths are decreasingly long...... so you can wear it out to a party or out for a stroll thru the garden... maybe out to a nice dance with that specials someone...... You decide.....

This is another one that i changed the prim skirt for... I was not happy with the skirt as it was so i totally redesigned the style altogether. This one has a great swish and a bit of a bustle to the back..... the skirt is much much fuller and flowy. I love the traditional asian feel to the top... and the colors pink and silver with a great brocade pattern are scrumptious! I really enjoy wearing this one out dancing and not simply as a wedding gown.. it is perfect for formal events. Demo is available in the store.

Ok so my arm has been thoroughly twisted by what i have read on the fashion feeds! I LOVE love inspiration and this is tooooooo fun! I simply had to partake. So here is a preview of my creation modeled by two darlings.... Karla Marama and Mischha Boa.
This will be available in the store tonight (not till i get home from rl work..lol)but i wanted to tempt you all a little bit. These are both Sculpty and the formal is flexi as well... All will come in the same box.... 2 short skirt options (with and without the bow), and one formal long one that shows just a little leg as you walk! Each has been lovingly hand painted in a glorious flamingo pink! The bodice has a feathered look and the back dips to a deep V. I will repost later when they are in the store and I have officially submitted to the challenge.

Ok, after searching the grid up and down and coming up with nothing good.. I am going to reach out. I need a location to photograph as a background..... what i am looking for is a loft style room with very sparse furnishings and a sort of messy art studio look. I am also open to variations of this theme... but generally think grey rainy day messy loft... industrial feeling or city feeling (urban). The background will be used in my next series of magazine ads. If anyone has a location that they know of, or own that they wouldnt mind me photographing please IM me in world or just send me a lm if you dont mind.. I can im you prior to visiting if you like. Ok guys had to revamp my ad boards background.. and i dont think i will be reshooting and changing the others ( I LOST IT ALL! my cpu crashed about 2 months ago and i am not sure i can retrieve any of it.. though i will try eventually) I think the new look is more hip and chic... lol Hope you do too!

Here are a few new items available in the store.... the sweaters are available on their own as a pair for $L100 as well.... check along the back wall for them. Ack I hope SL gets it in gear tonight.. First is this funky lil number.. Argile Runway ( no idea how i decided I liked that name..lol)

It comes with alot! Wear the sweater alone, add the scarf.. wear a skirt with cool flexis or alone for a business look..... I LOVE skinny jeans.. so i had to do these... oh and you DO get the pink tank!

Second is one I adore! .. But get mixed feedback on.... it is mod prim (like all my stuff) so if the pants are too long or short .. you can mod. YAY! Wear it with the prim or skinny, with the waistband or regular... and two choices of sweater color, with sculpted sleeves... Have fun!

Each item of clothing entered into this portion of the store (found on the second floor) will offer a limited number of copies and then disappear forever! Currently there are 3 items and i will show them below. These items are full mod and trans (no copy) I think they are quite lovely! First off though, here are some shots of the store!

And for review... on me :) This first one is my favorite! Its name is Heidi, It is flexi and sculpty. Comes with a flex smart and regular flex skirt, 3 piece sculpted collar and sleeves, system shorts, tights, and top. Priced at $L900 each it will only sell 100 copies.

This one is a lovely wedding gown called Silk Flutter. This is an excellent way to get an exclusive wedding gown without having to make a custom! There is a demo available and only 25 copies will sell. The gown features 2 straps with pearl buttons going across the back. It is soft layers of silky chiffon with just the right amount of flex. At $L2500 this is a beautiful gown!

Lastly I am showing you a great high fashion sophisticated look for the season. This is Mocha Lace (Debutante). I am only selling 30 copies of this one at $L550 each! The collar and sleeves are sculpty. It looks fab even without them!

The fabric is silver lame with added hand painted olive accents... Really fun for $L 250!! Model is the sexy but sweet Karla Marama

I have included both a mod/trans no copy prim and a copy/mod no trans prim.. and an original prim without the smart that is mod/trans...the main dress base is trans/no copy/no mod. In the process of all of this.. I discovered that I cant preset the sit and normal positions for you :((((((( It resets when you get it :( The notecard in the box will tell you how to do this.... and try it first on the copy version please.. dont be scared if you mess it up it is easy to fix! :) Enjoy!

Smart Skirt Script!

Ok, so this is both an opinion and a new product going forth. I have purchased a smart skirt script and plan to add this to each package containing a prim flexi skirt in my store. This WILL take a good deal of time, as i would like to set the skirts to work well for sitting prior to placing it in the package (this will allow less fiddling and less error on your behalf... adjusting flex prims is NOT a fun thing for most people.) My opinion on the script is this, it works really well , I mean REALLY well in the normal and sitting positions ( the script is essentially a positioning script that allows you to save 3 predefined skirt positions: Normal, Sit and walking) but due to the way that flex skirts work, i am not seeing a great benefit to the walking ... perhaps some of you will figure this out... however to me.. since flexi is a phantom prim, i dont think it much matters where you set the prim.. it will still go thru you when you walk. Now, let me just say that I do have several nice skirts that already sit well, and walk well just due to the amount of flex, and the addition of some stationary prims... take a look at the photos in the vendors you will see this.

All that being said, I do expect this to be a standard in all quality flexi skirts in most designers offerings, and plan to offer it in all skirts going forth and in past skirts as I find time to add. I will NOT be changing the price of these items! I find more value in offering this as a core principal in my store.. and feel that you will all come to purchase simply due to the benefit.. and this alone will cover the scripts cost.

So, Here is how it will go:

As i add this script to old and new items, you will find that i include it in a number of ways. In each box you will find a copy version of the smart skirt that is NO trans (only for the prim not the entire outfit), a trans no copy version of the smart skirt, and a trans no copy of the original skirt without the script. This is to allow you to experiment with the smart skirt settings if you wish without risking a disaster!.. a nc will be included explaining how to further mod your smart skirt ( I will preset the sit and normal values for you) to your liking. It will also still allow you to give the whole outfit as a gift to another person or to sell it at a later date.. while only losing the copy version in your gift or sale.

I am already playing with this for the Reverie series but do not plan to have the skirts in the box until about mid next week. I will post as soon as that happens!

A Joyous Pageant!

I had the pleasure and honor of enjoying the first ever Miss SL tropics pageant on Sunday, and sponsoring dear Makeda Cole with this custom gown! It was really quite something to see a creation of mine on such a beautiful catwalk, and on such a beautiful girl! Congratulations to the winner... Summer Deadlight! All of the girls were winners to me! I am now offering this gown for everyone to enjoy.... :) In the process of creating this gown for Makeda we went thru several prim options to find the right one for her!
